Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Showtime Entertainment Group, where he was in charge of all aspects of business development and Showtime’s Original Programs. Before his tenure at Showtime, Mr. Johnson held the position of Vice President with Osmond Television, developing comedy and variety, movies, and syndicated programming for the networks. Immediately prior to joining Osmond Television, Mr. Johnson was the Vice President/Executive Producer at ABC Television Networks in Los Angeles where he supervised variety series and the developing of new talent for network comedy and new variety series.
Mr. Johnson is recognized as one of the 50 most influential African-American entertainment executives in the U.S. by Ebony and Essence magazines. He attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he received a BS degree in Business Administration.
